Our Mission

Restoring Trust in Tipster Programs

CrimeCatchers is a non-profit organization focused on restoring the publics trust in tipster rewards. Far too often, tipsters who provide valuable information to law enforcement to catch dangerous and violent individuals never receive their reward due to bureaucratic technicalities—like delivering the information over 911 first before calling the official tip line.

Media reports indicate that as many as 80% of legitimately earned rewards go unpaid and/or unclaimed.

Our rewards are paid after an arrest (without requiring a conviction), and do not require the individual to call a tip line, meaning that we are able to pay rewards quickly and fairly. We focus on paying rewards in connection with tips that lead to arrests for serious crimes such as terrorism, murder, and kidnapping.

Law Enforcement Voting

Senior law enforcement officials independently vote to select the most impactful tipster from our nominees.

Step 3

Reward Issued

CrimeCatchers promptly awards the $10,000 reward directly to the winning tipster selected by a consensus of senior law enforcement.

Eligibility Restrictions

Rewards are paid once all conditions in our charter have been met, including unanimous approval from our board of directors.
